This elegant asymmetrical dressing table (vanity), attributed to Jindřich Halabala and manufactured by UP Závody in Czechoslovakia in 1957, is an iconic example of Mid-Century Art Deco design. The piece features a striking stepped architectural profile, highlighting a drawer block finished in rich burl walnut veneer and set against a dark contrasting plinth. The towering mirror showcases authentic weathering—'foxed' mirror glass—which adds a beautifully moody, historical patina that cannot be replicated. It is fitted with a newly cut black glass top on the drawer section and a custom clear glass floating shelf on the side. Historical woodworm damage on the hidden structural parts has been fully treated and stabilized, preserving the authentic character. This piece has an attribution mark,
