Crafted in Hungary during the 1960s–1970s, it is a classic example of Socialist Realism (Socrealism) from the Communist era. It beautifully depicts working women carrying flags, capturing the distinct artistic propaganda and aestheticism of the period.

It was created by the renowned Hungarian artist István Engel Teván (son of the famous female ceramicist Margit Teván). His works are highly collectible and valued for their unique cultural and historical significance.
