A handsome 19th-century French Empire cabinet, beautifully executed in rich reddish-brown mahogany and distinguished by its elegant architectural form and finely detailed gilt-bronze mounts. The cabinet features a broad projecting cornice above a frieze drawer, adorned with an elaborate gilt-bronze classical mask and foliate ornamentation.
