A sculptural Mexican pottery pitcher featuring a wide-eyed owl on one side and a bold stylized flower on the reverse. Deep blue-gray foliage, rust-orange accents, and spiral motifs decorate the warm buff-colored ground.
The rounded body rises from a pedestal foot to a slender neck, flared pouring lip, and sweeping loop handle. Painted horizontal bands emphasize its expressive silhouette, while visible brushwork adds character.
An appealing accent for a mantel, console, or collected pottery display. Complements Mexican, Folk Art, and Boho Chic interiors.
Offered as one decorative pitcher. Maker unknown. The decoration is consistent with Tonalá pottery traditions, although the regional attribution remains unconfirmed.

Scattered scratches, rubbing, and small finish losses appear across the painted body, horizontal bands, and pedestal foot. Light-colored losses are particularly visible on the rust-colored base. The rim and handle show surface irregularities and wear. Fine lines are visible across portions of the surface; seem to be apart of the design. No cracks, or chips. A few dents that seem to also be apart of the design. Please review the photographs closely. *Please note that this is a vintage, pre-owned item and is not brand new. Vintage pieces have been previously used and may show age-appropriate wear, including scratches, scuffs, small chips, discoloration, finish variations, fading, patina, repairs, or other imperfections. These signs of age are part of each item’s history, character, and unique charm. We make every effort to photograph and describe notable condition issues accurately. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are considered an important part of the description. By purchasing a vintage item, you acknowledge and appreciate that natural wear and minor imperfections are expected. Vintage items are sold in their current condition. less
