Vintage 1950s Danish teak dressing table, W. 78 D. 40 H. 112 cm.

Design and features:
Rectangular drop-leaf mirror with rounded corners, supported by uprights that extend from the rear legs in a structural continuity. Below the top are five drawers—two larger ones on the left and three smaller ones on the right—with wooden shell handles. The top is covered in black glass with a metallic-tone crisscross stripe decoration, a distinctive decorative detail of the period. Tapered legs taper toward the bottom, visually lightening the volume despite the presence of the mirror.
Materials and production:
Teak frame, decorated black glass top, original mirror. Danish production, 1950s.
Condition:
Professional restoration in our workshop in Rome using conservative methods. Original patina preserved, wood treated with natural waxes and oils.
