An elegant late-20th-century French Bistro / Palm Beach Regency casual dining suite, featuring four high-back armchairs in an intricate geometric maze weave paired with a sculptural wrought iron table base accented with turned brass finials.
Each armchair is sculpted with an exaggerated flared backrest, open looping arms wrapped in smooth reed, and a wide cushioned-profile seat executed in a woven Greek key / maze parquet pattern. The chair frames are supported by slender double-rod wrought iron cabriole legs terminating in delicate out-swept scroll feet.
The accompanying table base features an undulated, scalloped top support ring designed to cradle a round glass top. Its paired curvilinear legs are joined by a low cross-stretcher and capped with polished brass ball finials along the upper knuckles and cylindrical brass-tipped feet.
Note: This set is offered as a 5-piece suite comprising the four armchairs and the wrought iron table base. The glass top is not included, allowing the purchaser to tailor the diameter (accommodates 42″ to 54" round glass).
