Late 19th-century mahogany bookcase from England, composed of three distinct sections with a protruding central element. The upper top features glass doors enclosing three interior shelves, ideal for displaying volumes or decorative objects. The base is equipped with three drawers, the central one being a drop-front, revealing an internal compartment with open shelves, two additional drawers, and a central door. The brown leather insert on the top adds a touch of elegance and functionality. Below, there are four paneled doors completing the structure, offering additional storage space. The classic design and quality of mahogany make this bookcase a distinctive and functional piece of furniture for refined environments. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
