A striking and rare vintage find, this square serving tray beautifully marries 1970s Hollywood Regency glamour with the meticulous manufacturing of Mikasa, Japan.
While globally renowned for fine ceramics and crystal, Mikasa produced a highly limited line of luxury hosting accessories during the late mid-century era to complement their premium tabletop collections.
Crafted from high-gloss acrylic lucite, the tray features a deep, translucent faux-tortoiseshell pattern that catches the light elegantly. Its clean-lined, minimalist profile is enhanced by seamless, integrated cutout handles, reflecting the high-end European barware aesthetics popularized by houses like Christian Dior and Guzzini.
A marvelous statement piece for a curated bar cart, coffee table, or vanity console. Retains the original brown and gold "Mikasa Japan" sticker on the underside.

Shows beautifully with very minimal, if any, surface wear to the face. There are a few minor, light nicks along the top edges, consistent with age and light handling, which do not detract from its highly reflective, polished appearance.
