A sculptural ceramic bowl by Jonathan Adler, from his Menagerie-era pottery line. The small size of his bestselling Bird Bowl, its simplified avian form — raised head, elongated body, flared tail — rendered as a functional catchall, and tabletop sculpture. Finished in a matte white glaze over a subtly dimpled, hand-worked surface, with incised ribbing at the foot and a smooth gloss-white interior. Impressed Jonathan Adler script signature stamped into the base (photographed).
