Each lamp base is adapted and converted from a traditional baluster-shaped porcelain vase that has been professionally wired and mounted as a table lamp.
Featuring a slender, flared neck, rounded shoulders, and a gently tapering body.
Each vase has been professionally fitted with brass adjustable lamp rods (neck risers), dual light sockets with pull chains, and a matching top finial mount. Both are fitted with high-quality, matching olive green pleated fabric lampshades.
The empire-style shades flare out symmetrically at the bottom, perfectly balancing the proportions of the vase bases.
The porcelain vases are hand-painted with incredible care using overglaze enamel colors in the traditional Famille Verte style, characterized by a vibrant palette dominated by shades of green, accented with teal, blue, red, yellow, orange, and black.
The lower section of the vase features four hand-painted rectangular panels in different nature scenes, depicting floral landscapes, birds, botanical motifs, butterflies, foliage, peonies, and Chinese scholars' objects.
The necks, shoulders, and bases are heavily decorated with colorful, repeating geometric patterns, floral borders, and intricate decorative bands.
