Marbro Crystal Columnar Lamp with chrome accents.
The column is built in 3 sections: molded base on polished chrome footing, reeded column and cupped capital. The pieces are joined by chrome hardware detailed with classical designs. There is a chrome rod down the center with two pull-chain light sockets and a matching acorn finial on top.
Marbro sourced Baccarat crystal from France, Murano glass from Italy and crystal from Sweden. Their lamps were assembled and finished in Los Angeles, CA.
The lamp takes standard bulbs (the ones shown just happen to be what was handy). Bulbs not included.
MADE 1955-1965 in USA.
MARKINGS: MARBRO molded into underside of base. Customized yellow Underwriter Laboratory label identified Marbro Lamp Company as the maker.
MEASUREMENTS: 33.75" overall height. 7" x 7" base.
Very good pre-owned condition. The lamp lights as shown. The wiring is newer. No chips, cracks, dings, scratches or other damage to glass aside from some tiny bubbles in the column section from the time of manufacture. There is a bit of light spotting on the chrome base.
