A belle époque commercial back-counter bar shelf made of solid brass tubing and glass shelves, dating from 1900-1920.
it consists of two vertical supports topped with decorative hook-shaped finials, holding four thick glass shelves with green edges. Three shelves are 30 cm deep, and the fourth is 25 cm deep. The forged brass brackets, with their tapered profile, are attached to the supports by a knurled screw collar system, allowing for adjustable height. The feet consist of a circular brass base with an iron threaded rod and hexagonal nut for floor mounting—a robust construction typical of early 20th-century commercial furniture. The brass has an antique golden patina with traces of wear and natural oxidation on the ferrous parts of the feet. Overall good condition. Cleaning and localized rust removal of the ferrous parts will be recommended.
dimensions: h. 190 cm – w. 155 cm – d. 30 cm. Weight: 60 kg.
