The bottle displays the compact proportions and intricate enamel decoration associated with fine Chinese snuff bottles. The pair of dragons creates a dynamic decorative composition across the surface and gives the piece a strong traditional Chinese character. Bearing a Qianlong mark and dating from the Qianlong period, this is a highly decorative Qing dynasty object suitable for a collection of Chinese enamel, snuff bottles or Asian works of art.
