Bring classic French coastal elegance to your table with this stunning set of six vintage mid-century oyster plates. Crafted by the celebrated Faïencerie de Gien in France, these white faience porcelain plates feature a beautiful, high-relief barbotine (majolica) finish.
Each plate is designed with an organic, flower-like scalloped perimeter showcasing six highly detailed, molded oyster shell wells. A perfectly proportioned central circular well is integrated to hold lemon wedges, cocktail sauce, or fresh mignonette. A beautiful, sculptural addition to any holiday table or a striking display collection on a coastal plate wall.Stamped "Gien France" on the underside.
