An extraordinary, ready-to-hang gallery collection of six (6) authentic turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau and Jugendstil chromolithograph folio plates (c. 1895–1905). Sourced from premier French and German decorative arts publications of the Belle Époque—including "Le Journal de la Décoration" (Paris), "Album de la Décoration" (Paris), and "Dekorative Vorbilder" (Stuttgart)—this complete set has been uniformly custom-framed to create a striking statement gallery wall.
This curated set includes authenticated works by notable European period artists and masters of decorative design:
1. "Vignettes" by Alphonse Waldraff – Authentic French Art Nouveau multi-panel specimen plate published by Armand Guérinet (Paris) for "Le Journal de la Décoration", showcasing figures in elegant interior and garden settings.
2. "Esquisse d'un Tapis" (Carpet Design Sketch) – French Art Nouveau textile design plate from "Album de la Décoration" (Vol. 3, Pl. 39) published by Auguste Calavas & printed by G. Engelmann (Paris).
3. "Centaures" by Josef Goller – Authentic German Jugendstil plate after Dresden Secessionist artist Josef Goller (1868–1947), published by Armand Guérinet for "Le Journal de la Décoration" (Paris).
4. "Allegorische Darstellungen der Musik" by Ada Bowley – German Jugendstil lithograph after watercolors by English illustrator Ada Bowley, printed by E. Hochdanz & published by Julius Hoffmann (Stuttgart).
5 & 6. "Merkur in verschiedenen Darstellungen" (Matching Pair / Diptych) by Prof. Gustav Sturm – A rare matching pair of German Jugendstil plates (Pl. 44 from Dekorative Vorbilder) featuring Mercury, Roman god of commerce, published by Julius Hoffmann (Stuttgart).
