DESCRIPTION

The 1950s Italian Shelter Arm Chair is streamlined in form, with curved shelter-style arms and a waterfall seat cushion. The silhouette recalls the sculptural forms of midcentury Italian design: a continuous curved back that wraps into the arms and shelters the seat.

This is the Classic 32.5 inch depth configuration, upholstered in Italian Veneto leather in Ivory and set on a plinth base in a Black Oak Drifted finish. The frame is handcrafted of engineered hardwood with reinforced joinery, corner blocking, and mortise-and-tenon construction, over a sinuous spring suspension. Seat and back are padded with high-density polyurethane cushioning.
