This oil on board depicts a winding country path leading toward cottages surrounded by tall evergreens and golden autumn foliage. Rocky terrain and flowering grasses fill the foreground, while distant mountain peaks rise beneath a pale blue sky streaked with clouds. Expressive brushwork adds texture throughout the trees, hillsides, and buildings. The painting is signed at the lower left and enclosed in a gold and silver tone frame detailed with layered molding and a decorative inner border. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. See less
