A mid-19th century American washstand in cherry, in the late Sheraton taste. A gabled splashboard with scrolled ends rises above a rectangular top. Below is a single full-width drawer with brass knob pulls, on ring-turned legs joined by a lower shelf set into squared blocks and finished with turned feet. The surface has a warm, aged patina. It is a good scale for a bedside, entry, or bar station.
