Most likely a Louis XV-style (French Provincial/Rococo Revival) canapé or settee from early 20th century (potentially late 19th century).
Carved walnut or mahogany frame. The carving, cabriole legs, and shaped crest rail are nice quality. The carving is deep, crisp, and varied (acanthus leaves, flowers, beaded edging, scroll feet), which suggests hand work rather than machine-made reproduction. The underside shows old burlap and woven webbing.
No major defects: no rips or tears on the upholstery; only minor dings on the wood legs.
