An impressive monumental vintage wicker and rattan Emmanuelle peacock chair featuring an oversized fan-shaped backrest, intricate open lattice weaving, decorative looped edging, and beautifully detailed woven accents throughout.
The dramatic high back is complemented by sculptural rolled armrests, a rounded woven seat, and an elaborate pedestal-style base with additional lattice detailing. Its generous proportions and intricate craftsmanship make this a striking statement piece.
The chair retains its aged, weathered finish, which has been previously coated with a clear protective finish. A round upholstered seat cushion is included.
A wonderful example of vintage wicker craftsmanship, perfect for an Old Florida, British Colonial, or tropical-inspired interior.

The chair is sturdy and retains its original weathered appearance. A previous owner applied a clear coat over the aged finish, leaving visible variations in color, texture, and surface appearance throughout. There is a previously repaired break along the woven seat trim, along with minor breaks, splits, and areas of wear to the rattan and decorative wrappings. Additional surface imperfections and discoloration are present throughout. The chair has intentionally been left in its existing vintage condition.
