Burr wood veneers with fine stringing inlay cover the doors, fall-front, and drawers. They sit on bracket feet, with brass ring pulls and a tasseled key.

The mirrored upper doors open to a fitted interior with serpentine pigeonholes, arched niches with turned columns, and about 20 small drawers and cubbies. A central cupboard door has a figural marquetry crest and sits between faux leather-bound book spines. The fall-front opens to a tooled black leather writing surface over a second bank of drawers, with a star-inlaid cupboard at the center. Below are three full-width drawers.

Compact and narrow, so it suits an entry, study, or small apartment.
