Decorative vintage pedestal basket featuring an openwork metal frame with loosely woven vine- or rattan-like strands throughout the bowl. The piece has a wide circular rim with coiled wire detailing and a graceful flared pedestal base with repeating arched wirework.
The dark bronze and copper-toned finish gives the basket a warm, aged appearance, while the open sculptural construction makes it especially attractive as a tabletop centerpiece.
Ideal for displaying decorative fruit, dried botanicals, seasonal ornaments, or simply as a sculptural accent on a dining table, console, kitchen island, or sideboard.
Measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and approximately 8½–9 inches tall.
Unmarked; maker and country of origin are unknown.
