The rattan wrapped frame with inset glass shelves is one of the most iconic and sought after etagere formats of the 1970s, associated closely with the influential work of Milo Baughman and the broader coastal, organic modern, and Palm Beach Regency aesthetic that defined some of the most celebrated American interior design of that decade.

The warm natural rattan wrapping gives this piece a relaxed, organic warmth that chrome versions of the same format cannot match, making it equally at home in a coastal, boho, Palm Beach, or organic modern interior. Five generously proportioned glass shelves provide substantial display and storage capacity across a tall, commanding 78" frame.

Rattan wrapped etageres in this Milo Baughman style are consistently among the most searched and sought after vintage display pieces on the market, appealing equally to collectors who know the reference and casual buyers drawn to the natural material and clean architectural silhouette.
