Sourced directly from an antique shop in the Cotswolds, this authentic mid-19th-century piece features the classic, sophisticated lines of the traditional sarcophagus form. The exterior showcases a deeply figured rosewood veneer that serves as a dramatic backdrop for the remarkably crisp, flowing bird's-eye maple floral inlay across the front panel and top.
