The mirror's graceful silhouette is defined by flowing asymmetrical curves, scrolling foliage, and delicately modeled floral ornaments inspired by the exuberant decorative arts of the eighteenth century.

The crest is crowned by a stylized shell motif framed by scrolling acanthus leaves and hand-painted flowers, a hallmark of Rococo design. Additional floral embellishments adorn the sides and lower apron, creating a balanced composition filled with movement and refinement. The soft cream finish is enhanced by carefully applied gilt details that emphasize the depth and intricacy of the carving.

A fine craquelure across the painted surface lends the frame an attractive aged character, reinforcing its decorative charm and antique appearance. Equally suited to a bedroom, powder room, entrance hall, or a classically inspired living space, this mirror brings warmth, elegance, and a touch of Italian romance to an interior.

Good vintage condition with age-related wear. Fine crackle to the painted finish throughout the frame, consistent with age and decorative intent. Small paint loss to one scroll element on the left side. The mirror remains structurally sound and presents beautifully. See less
