Beautiful Rococo Revival octagonal accent table crafted in rich walnut with book-matched burl wood veneering.
The octagonal tabletop features a dramatic starburst / sunburst burl pattern centering an octagonal inlay, framed by a multi-tiered molded edge. Below the top, the apron is wrapped in elaborate pierced and carved fretwork with scrolling foliage and acanthus motifs.
The table stands on gracefully proportioned cabriole legs adorned with deeply carved floral clusters and foliate scrolls, anchored near the base by a sweeping X-form stretcher crowned with an urn finial. Finishing with carved scroll feet, this striking piece offers exceptional craftsmanship from every angle.
