Few creatures are as closely associated with the English countryside as the fox. From quiet encounters along hedgerows to its enduring presence in English folklore, art, and country-house tradition, the fox has long been a familiar and much-loved figure in rural life.
This charming vintage English brass door knocker captures that character beautifully. The wonderfully detailed fox head, with its alert expression and finely rendered features, gives the piece a personality all its own. The brass has developed a lovely, mellow patina, with deeper tones settling into the casting and highlighting the craftsmanship.
There is something particularly appealing about an old door knocker—a small architectural detail that offers the first glimpse of a home's personality. This one brings a touch of English country charm to any entrance, both practical and wonderfully decorative.
Hand selected in and imported from England, this vintage brass fox door knocker is a delightful little piece of English country tradition, full of character and ready to welcome visitors for years to come.
