A striking example of contemporary Southwestern studio pottery, this vintage vase is hand-thrown and hand-glazed by noted ceramicist Rick Schlag. The bold sand-textured finish and organic form evoke desert landscapes, while the rich earth-tone glaze pools artfully around the flared neck. Signed on the foot and in excellent vintage condition with only minor surface wear, it stands 10.25″ tall and makes a stunning focal point for any mantel, shelf, or tabletop display.
