Made using the double-blowing technique (Doppelglas), it combines two blown-glass elements into a single ornament. Mushroom-shaped motifs, particularly the red Amanita muscaria with white polka dots, were symbols of good luck and prosperity, making them popular as vintage decorations. The mushroom cap is a vibrant glossy red with white polka dots, while the stem, made of clear or slightly silvered glass, is embellished with hand-painted figures. These figures, dressed in traditional costumes, are dancing or celebrating, giving the ornament a fairy-tale and vintage feel. The attention to detail and artisanal craftsmanship make it an exceptional piece for collectors of German Christmas decorations.
