This decorative … Read more Beautiful vintage Flemish-style tapestry, woven in Belgium during the second half of the 20th century on Jacquard looms. This decorative wall tapestry depicts a charming pastoral landscape with an elegant castle in the background, surrounded by lush trees, foliage and flowers. Its rich, intricate detailing and harmonious palette of warm beige, gold, brown, olive green and muted blue create a timeless, traditional European atmosphere. The tapestry was hand-finished and produced by the Flemish Tapestries group in the style of the Aubusson tapestries, using traditional weaving techniques on jacquard looms. The reverse bears its original manufacturer’s label, identifying the design as “Flemish View of the Castle” and confirming its Belgian origin.
