Here is a pair of 1970s Brazilian Modernist side tables by Percival Lafer, featuring sculptural, rich Brazilian rosewood frames and smoked glass tops.
Each table has a low, rectangular profile supported by substantial angular wood legs that curve into distinctive open U-shaped forms. The dark wood frames contrast beautifully with the smoky glass tops, which rest within the structure and create a clean, architectural silhouette.
The combination of geometric construction, rich wood tones and tinted glass reflects the bold yet understated character of Brazilian Modernist design during the 1970s.
A matching coffee table is also available separately.
Each table measures 22.5"W × 23.5"D × 13.5"H.

One wooden stretcher has a discreet repair, as shown in the photos, which is largely concealed beneath the glass top when the table is in use. The smoked glass tops are in very good condition with light surface wear. Original manufacturer's labels remain intact. less
