Artisan-crafted in Italy, the matching stands bring strong architectural presence to an interior while providing elegant display surfaces for sculptures, busts, vases or other decorative objects.
Each pedestal is constructed from durable resin, allowing the elaborate Baroque ornamentation to be rendered with impressive depth and definition. Sculptural female mask motifs appear on all four corners, surrounded by scrolling foliage, classical flourishes and richly modelled decorative details.
The deep black ground is contrasted with antique-silver highlights, which emphasize the raised ornamentation and give the traditional Baroque design a distinctive, slightly more contemporary character.
Each pedestal is topped with a dark marble-effect resin surface, providing a polished platform for displaying decorative objects. As a matching pair, they are particularly effective when positioned symmetrically on either side of a doorway, fireplace, console, mirror or architectural feature.
