Handcrafted in France, the matching tables reflect the symmetry, graceful proportions and refined detailing associated with Louis XVI neoclassical furniture.
Each table features a tall, round pedestal form supported by carved beechwood construction. Classical details and balanced lines give the pair an elegant architectural presence, while the original gilt-gold finish has developed a naturally aged patina that adds depth and authentic vintage character.
The tables retain their original beige marble tops, each displaying subtle natural veining and tonal variations inherent to the stone. The soft beige marble creates an elegant contrast with the warm gilded frames.
As a matching pair, the tables are particularly attractive when positioned symmetrically on either side of a sofa, bed, doorway, fireplace or console. They can also be used individually as side tables, bedside tables or decorative pedestal stands.
