A compact and well-made 1950s Swedish shoe cabinet by Ilse Møbel in a clean combination of teak and beech. The two-tone construction is a hallmark of quality postwar Scandinavian cabinetmaking — teak veneer surfaces paired with a solid beech carcass. Slim proportions make this an ideal hallway or bedroom piece. Ilse Møbel was a respected German manufacturer producing high quality Scandinavian-influenced furniture throughout the 1950s and 1960s.
