Presenting a magnificent, heirloom-quality, owned by one family, pair of late 20th-century bedside chests/nightstands from Henredon's highly coveted "Charles X" Collection.
Crafted with an exceptional eye for traditional elegance, these cabinets showcase jaw-dropping, book-matched olive ash and walnut burl wood veneers with a rich, radiant honey-toned lacquer finish. Each chest features three deep, smoothly operating dovetailed drawers providing ample storage.
The front faces are adorned with their striking, original ornate heavy cast brass bail pulls and decorative escutcheons.
True to Henredon's legacy of elite craftsmanship, these are incredibly heavy, solid, and structurally flawless.
The interior drawer displays the stamped "Charles X Henredon" hallmark, and the rear retains the original factory inspector validation labels.

The structurally sound cabinets exhibit excellent veneer character. There is one minor, localized ding to the veneer finish on the upper rear corner edge of one chest (clearly documented in photos), which can be easily filled or camouflaged. Minor faint micro-scuffs to the top clear coat are present but do not distract from the gorgeous burl pattern. less
