One sterling silver double photograph frame featuring an ornate, embossed Rococo or Art Nouveau revival design with front hallmark and lion passant.
I believe this is the hallmark of Turner & Simpson Ltd, a highly collectible family-owned silversmith firm based in Birmingham, England. They specialize in small, finely detailed silver goods.
This piece is designed for tabletop display, perfect for showcasing two photographs side by side. This frame is beautifully backed with dark blue velvet and has glass.
Measuring 6 1/2” tall by 7 1/4” wide by 1/2” deep (collapsed), it is in excellent condition, unmonogrammed, and bears heavy patina.
