This Really is a Great Looking Authentic Antique America Snare Drum. Circa Very Early 1900s. If you Look Through One of the Small Round Holes on the Side of the Drum there is a Small Paper Label Identifying the Historical & Well Documented Maker as WALBURG & Co. in WORCESTER MASSACHUSETTS. This Company was Started in Approx 1903 and if Fast Became a Prolific Supplier of Good Quality & Professional Grade Musical Instruments and Accessories.

The Wood Appears to be Steam Bent Maple with Natural Animal Hyde ( Most Likely Goat Skin ) Drum Heads. The hardware is Steel and Appears to have Remnants of Nickel Plating. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition - Just Exactly as it has Survived Over the Years. It has a Wonderful Natural Age and Use Related Patina. It Would Displays Beautifully as a Unique Decorator Item in Just The Rite Setting.
