We have an absolutely beautiful antique Victorian oak highboy dresser for sale. Dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, this elegant five drawer chest features gorgeous golden oak wood grain, distinctive serpentine drawer fronts, an intricately carved decorative backsplash, and ornate metal drawer pulls. Its natural finish and traditional Victorian design make it an amazing statement piece for an antique inspired bedroom, historic home, or thoughtfully decorated living space.
This piece is constructed with dovetail jointed drawers, paneled sides, and decorative carved accents. This tall chest showcases the craftsmanship and attention to detail found in furniture from this time period. Its generous vertical storage offers plenty of room for clothing, linens, and everyday essentials. This is a wonderful example of antique American furniture, combining practical functionality with fantastic architectural character and old world elegance.
Please keep in mind that this is a very old piece. It’s not going to look fresh off the line. That being said, I’d like to point out some imperfections for the purpose of complete transparency. There is scratching throughout. There are imperfections on the top. There are imperfections on the sides and legs. There are imperfections on the body of the piece. The insides of the drawers are far from pristine. Detailed photos have been taken for complete transparency.
I do invite you to zoom in on the photos. We do business with integrity but don’t always catch every tiny detail that a potential buyer may find significant. The ideal buyer for this is going to love the style and character of the piece. This could be an amazing addition to your space!
