The entire structure—legs, crossbars, backrest uprights, and armrests—is made of dark brown stained wood, turned in a beaded (or coiled) pattern, a characteristic motif of the louis xiii style and its 19th-century revivals. The square seat is woven from rush in a four-pointed star pattern. It shows slight wear in the center, consistent with the piece's age.

there are some signs of wear on the seat corners and slight fraying of the rush, signs of authenticity and the natural use of an antique piece. Its compact and practical corner design makes it ideal for furnishing a room's corner. Dimensions: h. 64 cm × w. 41 cm × d. 41 cm.
