One of the designer’s most recognisable pieces, it combines a tractor-style seat with a base inspired by a drummer’s stool. Designed in Japan in the late 20th century, it remains a sought-after piece among vintage design enthusiasts.

The standout feature is the beautifully shaped red seat. This colourway is less commonly found on the market than the popular white version, making this example particularly special.

The seat is made of painted steel and sits on a chrome-plated, three-legged base. The chrome has been carefully cleaned and polished, giving it an attractive shine.

The stool is also highly practical. The seat height is adjustable, and both the seat and legs fold flat for compact storage.

It works well in vintage, Space Age, mid-century modern, industrial and retro interiors. The bold red colour makes it an eye-catching accent, especially when paired with chrome, white, wood or glass.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The seat retains its attractive glossy red finish, with minor signs of use visible in the photographs. The chrome has been polished and presents very well. The height adjustment and folding mechanisms work properly.
