The chandelier has a medieval / historicist presence and is a statement piece for an entry, dining room, library, wine room, lodge or castle-inspired interior.

the chandelier measures approximately 60 cm wide by 60 cm deep and 48 cm high without the chain. Total height with chain and canopy is approximately 85 cm. The weight is approximately 9.5 kg.

this piece has been carefully restored over time and combines original antique elements with later restorations and additions. The four turret sections and most of the decorative ironwork appear original. One of the upper triangular panels with grotesque mask decoration has been hand-recreated to match the original design. The crenellated elements and canopy appear to be later additions. All parts have been visually harmonized, giving the chandelier a coherent historic character.

the iron surface has been preserved with renaissance wax to protect the natural patina. The chandelier shows age-related wear, oxidation, minor irregularities and traces of restoration, all consistent with its antique character and decorative history.

the electrical system has been completely renewed by an electrician and includes grounding. The chandelier is fitted with four e14 sockets in the turret sections and three central e27 sockets. For us buyers, e14 to e12 adapters are included. The central e27 sockets can also be used with e26 bulbs. Led bulbs may be used as well. As with all antique and vintage lighting, professional installation by a qualified electrician is recommended.
