Gunnar Nylund (1904–1997) designed many classics for the Danish ceramic Workshop Nymølle where he was artistic leader from 1959-63. This particular piece is executed in a delicate brown glaze with pink/rose undertones making the 'brown' subtle and feminine. It is hand-signed by GN and crested with makers mark and dessin number 90/10. This vase is similar in style to Stig Lindberg and Saxbo Stoneware with its glazes and biomorphic shape.
