I found this unusual vintage folding rocker in rough condition and restored it from the frame up. Rather than reproduce the original look, I gave it a modern interpretation while keeping the unusual folding design.

Restoration includes:
• Frame completely stripped and refinished, natural wood finish
• Rocker rails in satin black
• New upholstery and cushioning throughout
• Genuine leather seat, back, and hand-stitched headrest pillow
• Custom black braided trim
• Hardware cleaned and restored, folding mechanism fully serviced

And yes — IT FOLDS. Folds down compact for storage or transport, rocks like a proper rocking chair when open. The design is inspired by 19th-century folding rockers. I couldn't verify a maker, so I'm selling it honestly as a vintage restored piece, not claiming it's an antique.

Works beautifully in a living room, bedroom, reading nook, nursery, or office — suits modern farmhouse, transitional, and eclectic interiors. Trade/designer inquiries welcome. See less
