Elegant antique French porcelain violet flower with individually modeled deep purple petals, small central stamens and sculpted green leaves with naturalistic veining. The richly glazed surface shows subtle tonal variation and fine crazing consistent with age. Presented on a later custom iron and wood display stand, the flower is elevated to emphasize its sculptural botanical form, making it a beautiful French porcelain flower, botanical sculpture and decorative ceramic object for a shelf, console or collected interior. From Chartres, France!
