This exquisite vintage wooden box is a beautiful example of traditional Chinese-inspired craftsmanship. Crafted from rosewood (Huali wood), it features a rich, warm grain and is heavily adorned with intricate inlays. The lid is decorated with mother of pearl floral motifs, four gemstone cabochons (red and blue) set in brass mounts, and a central carved jade-like medallion. It is the perfect size for storing jewelry, keepsakes, or small treasures, doubling as a stunning decorative accent on a vanity or desk.
Features:
Material: Solid rosewood with a polished finish. Decorated with mother of pearl (shell) floral inlays, simulated jade, and gemstone cabochons.
Design: Square box with a hinged lid. The inlay work is symmetrical and highly detailed, featuring floral and geometric patterns.
Condition: Vintage condition. The box is structurally sound. There is minor wear on the wood, metal, and inlays consistent with age and use. Please review photos carefully.
