A striking pair of Art Deco bedside tables, thoughtfully repurposed from a vintage waterfall vanity. Each narrow, three-drawer cabinet shows off the dramatic veneer work the style is known for: bookmatched burl-style panels framed by chevron-cut walnut veneers on the lower drawers, and bold, striped figured veneer on the top drawers. Reeded side columns, a stepped and rounded top edge, and sculptural bun feet with original casters add classic Deco detail.
Hardware is original butterscotch Bakelite-look bar pulls on brass posts on the lower drawers, with matching round knobs on the top drawers. The warm honey tones of the cabinet sides and tops complement the deep, rich fronts. Their slim profile makes them ideal beside a bed, in a tight entry, or flanking a sofa. Inside top sections refinished where former shelf connected.
