Two sinuous, loop-shaped handles rise from the shoulders in graceful curves, each finished in the same cobalt speckle as the body. The vessel is covered in a dense geometric ground of tiny triangles, dots, and fractured facets in deep cobalt against crisp white, which gives the surface a mosaic-like shimmer. Across the neck and shoulders, round floral medallions with dotted rosettes repeat in rhythm. At the center of the belly, a large oval reserve frames a classic scene of two cranes beside a gnarled pine, their wings lifted in a lively pose, painted in layered washes of indigo, slate, and pale blue. The glaze is glossy and glassy, pooling deeper blue in the recesses and revealing fine crazing that adds an aged, lived-in character. The base flares into a ruffled, lobed foot that echoes the wavy rim, and the interior is washed in soft blue, giving the piece a unified, collected look.
