Add classic estate elegance to your holiday table, buffet, or sideboard with this exquisite vintage silver-plated covered serving dish set.
Masterfully produced by the historic Webster Wilcox division of Oneida Silversmiths, this cohesive two-piece set seamlessly blends functional design with high-end traditional craftsmanship.
The set features a heavily domed, deep lid intricately detailed with a sprawling, embossed floral and scroll motif. It is crowned by an ornate, heavy cast-silver loop handle for effortless lifting. The shallow skillet-style base pan mirrors this grandeur with a wide, elaborately scalloped rim. It features a beautifully turned, dark ebonized wooden handle that remains securely anchored and structurally sound.
This versatile serving set functions spectacularly on its own. It is perfect for presentation-style dining or tableside service. When not serving food, it can be styled shut on a console or sideboard as a dramatic, polished centerpiece.

It shows light, superficial surface wear, fine polishing wisps, and tarnishing consistent with age. Please note: The side rim of the lid has a very slight bend. This is purely cosmetic, not highly noticeable when displayed, and does not affect how securely the lid sits on the pan or its overall functionality. There are no deep gouges, heavy pitting, or structural damage to the silver. Great vintage patina but can polish for a good finish. less
