Beautiful vintage midcentury round hinged trinket box handcarved from Italian alabaster. Pale yellow with hand painted purple violets on the top and gold hardware and then polished to a shine.
Approximately 3.25" in diameter, 2" tall and 1" deep.
In very good pre-owned vintage condition: there is one very small, slight mark on the edge that may have come from a flaw in the original stone used for this box rather than a chip after the fact.
