Stunning early 20th-century English Arts & Crafts hall tree, expertly crafted from solid quarter-sawn oak. Retains its incredible original character, featuring a central shield shaped beveled mirror, multiple heavy-duty coat and hat hooks, and striking side panels with circular hammered metal accents. The lower section includes a convenient hinged-lid glove box or storage compartment flanked by open umbrella/cane holders complete with original metal drip pans. It features a wonderful carved floral motif on the central panel and bears the original brass retailer plaque for "Robert Johnson & Co., House Furnishers, Leicester." A magnificent, functional statement piece for any grand entryway or foyer.81" Tall x 43.5" wide, x 13.5" deep.
